EAS Barcelona arose from the initiative of a highly specialized and experienced team to establish a quality aeronautical training centre in one of Europe’s most attractive cities.
The management team of EAS Barcelona was the architect of the biggest aviation school in Spain and one of the largest in the world for fifteen years until the school was acquired by an investment group that led to the cessation of its activities.
During that period, the EAS Barcelona team performed more than 150,000 hours of flight instruction, around 20,000 hours of theoretical and flight-simulator training, and licensed more than 1,000 pilots, the vast majority of which are now among the commanders and first officers of many major Spanish airlines and in other parts of the world.
EAS Barcelona was also recently endorsed with an international quality seal (the first one granted to a company of the sector) for its excellence in training. This international recognition took place in the reception of groups of students from non-European countries and with the Cambra Prize for training and knowledge bestowed by the Chamber of Commerce of Sabadell.
